Enter your actual revenue per channel as it comes in — quarterly, monthly, or end-of-season — using totals from your POS reports or bank statements. Note: Planned figures shown here are gross revenue (stems × channel pricing). Cost-side calculations cover seed/plug, nursery, labour and overhead — they don't include broader business costs like insurance, accounting, marketing, etc. Those belong in your accounting tool.
| Flower | Plan Stems | Actual Stems | Forecast Rev | Actual Rev | Forecast Profit | Actual Profit | $/stem actual |

Actual figures are real harvested-and-sold numbers — no risk buffer applied. Actual Profit = harvest revenue minus the cost of growing the stems you actually harvested.
Revenue from harvest log entries — channel assigned at time of logging
Compares each flower's performance across seasons. Current season shown in italic green — fills in as you log harvests. Previous seasons are captured at rollover.

These rates are applied throughout the app wherever plant numbers or revenue are projected — Profitability tab, Dashboard, Flower edit preview, Bed Planner estimates, seed quantities, and Bloom Calendar availability.
Germination Rate — what percentage of seeds you sow actually germinate. Applied to seed quantity calculations and plant count projections. Default 80% is realistic for mixed seed lots; lisianthus and some perennials run lower, zinnias and sunflowers higher.
Survival Rate — what percentage of germinated seedlings make it to harvestable plants, accounting for transplant shock, slug damage, early disease losses. Default 85%. Combined with germination: 80% × 85% = 68% of seeds sown reach harvest.
Profit Risk Buffer — a blanket discount on projected profit to account for everything that erodes your margin across a season: unsold stems, weather events, pest damage, market timing, wastage, late crops. Default 20%. Applied only to profit — stem counts and revenue projections are not reduced.
Plug Loss Rate — what percentage of purchased plugs don't make it after transplanting. Replaces Germination × Survival in the plug cost preview. Default 10% — lower than seed losses since plugs are already established.
Applied across the app wherever profit is calculated: Profitability tab, Dashboard, Revenue & Compare tab, Flower edit profit preview, and Reports. The Currency Symbol also applies to the Bed Planner, Harvest Log, Sales Tracker, and Bouquet Builder.
Labour and Overhead are included in the Bed Planner — it shows Est. Profit (after all costs and the Profit Risk Buffer), consistent with the Profitability tab.
How often each bloom type is cut across its harvest window — used to estimate total stem yield in the Bed Planner. Cut & Come Again (dahlias, zinnias, cornflowers) every 7 days. Moderate producers (lisianthus, ranunculus, snapdragons) every 14 days is realistic for in-season cutting.
Set a multiplier for each sales channel. When you log a harvest, the price auto-adjusts based on channel. Wholesale = 1.0 (base price). Edit the price field anytime to override.
